According to Matthew Karch, CEO of Saber Interactive, World War Z has sold nearly 700,000 copies on Epic Games Store since its release on April 16. This figure makes EGS the top digital platform for Saber’s co-op zombie shooter.

This audience will spend $152.1 billion on games in 2019, which constitutes +9.6% year on year growth.
MY.GAMES to invest into AAA shooter developer
MY.GAMES, the gaming division of Russia’s Mail.Ru Group, has extended a generous offer to the developes currently working on AAA shooters for consoles. The company will select the most promising project, provide the funding and help create a studio to release the game.
Strategic minimalism behind indie hit Islanders
On April 4th, a German indie studio called GrizzlyGames released Islanders, an atmospheric minimalist city builder. The game immediately got warm reception from critics and very positive reviews on Steam. Valve listed it among 20 top-selling games of April 2019.
