Amplifier Game Invest, a subsidiary of Embracer Group, has launched new development studio Zapper Games in Raleigh, North Carolina.

Embracer has acquired another studio through its subsidiary Saber Interactive. The Swedish holding company now has a 100% stake in Russian studio Bytex. The financial terms of the deal, however, remain undisclosed.
