The deal is expected to be completed by the end of September 2021. It will help Saber Interactive strengthen its position in Russia. “We have worked with Bytex for many years and they’ve been a fantastic partner during our growth in the last 14 months” Saber CEO Andrey Iones said.
Bytex currently employes around 240 people, including 190 engineers. Dmitri Karasev will continue to lead the company as its CEO.
The studio was founded in 2004 in Saransk, Russia. Bytex offers different QA services on PC, mobile, VR, and other platforms. Together with Saber Interactive, the studio has worked on games like SnowRunner, NBA 2K Playgrounds 2, World War Z, and WWE 2K Battlegrounds.
