Poland-based studio Bloober Team has announced its expansion plans. This year, Layers of Fear and The Medium developer will open new offices and move to a larger stock exchange.

After months of silence, reports about an unconfirmed Silent Hill 2 remake have started to circulate again. The Medium developer Bloober Team is named as the studio behind the unannounced project.

Tencent continues to invest in Western developers by acquiring  21.97% of Bloober Team shares for PLN 77.6 million ($19.5 million). The deal makes the Chinese tech giant the biggest shareholder of the Polish studio.
