Gdynia-based Fearful Entertainment will make high-quality remakes of horror titmes exclusively for Switch, where the genre is under-represented, according to Bloober Team president Piotr Babieno. The new studio is already working on its first project.
The new studio is worth 100,000 PLN divided into 1 million shares. Bloober Team and Forever Entertainment each own 45% of the shares The remaining 10% were acquired by individual investors.
Bloober Team is an independent studio specializing in horror titles. Its hits include Observer and Layers of Fear. The developers are currently working on The Medium, a horror game for the next generation of consoles.
Forever Entertainment is one of the largest publishers of games for the Nintendo Switch. The company also releases remakes and ports for PlayStation 4, Xbox ONE and Google Stadia .
