Ukraine’s Ministry of Digital Transformation has shared a report on the local IT industry. It lists all tech companies in the country, including the ones making video games.
The ministry counted 533 service companies and 1701 product companies registered in Ukraine.
117 of them are working in the esports and gaming category, including studios like 4A Games (the Metro series), GSC Game World (the S.T.A.L.K.E.R. franchise), Creoteam, G5 Entertainment, and Plarium (RAID: Shadow Legends).
According to MC.Today, a company should meet certain requirements to be listed in the Ministry of Digital Transformation’s dashboard. At least one founder should be from Ukraine, its legal entity must be registered in Ukraine, and more than 30% of the company’s team must live in the country.
