Following the news about taking the development of The Witcher 3 next-gen upgrade in-house, CD Projekt has calmed down its investors. The company assured that the project is currently not in “development hell.”

CD Projekt has delayed the next-gen version of The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, which has been in development by Saber Interactive. The Polish company will finish the production itself, though it is unclear when the upgrade will come out.

Besides its financial results for the first half of 2021, CD Projekt has also revealed how many developers continue to work on Cyberpunk 2077. The studio still wants to regain players’ trust.
