The latest WN Connect event took place on December 21 in Shenzhen, China. It brought together 140 games industry workers from 112 companies, including ByteDance, Round Ventures, and Roblox.

According to the event’s organizer, WN Media Group, most of the companies were game developers and publishers. Each group accounted for 36% of all visitors, followed by advertising firms (24%), platforms (18%), and investors (13%).

Almost half of the 140 attendees were business development and sales managers. Executives were another large group, accounting for 35% of all visitors.

WN Connect are small events for 100-150 people usually dedicated to the local games industry. They are organized to help developers, managers, investors, and other professionals share their experiences and discuss various business topics.

The Shenzhen event is the third WN Connect held this year, following similar events in Istanbul and Tel Aviv in May and October, respectively. WN Connect Shenzhen’22 is also the third offline event hosted by WN Media Group in China. Prior to this, the company held two business conferences in Shanghai.
