Film director Jordan Vogt-Roberts confirmed that Oscar Isaac will play Solid Snake in the upcoming adaptation of Metal Gear Solid.

The film based on the Metal Gear Solid series by Hideo Kojima is currently in development at Sony Pictures. As reported by Deadline, the script is written by Derek Connolly, with Avi Arad producing.
It’s now impossible to tell when the Metal Gear Solid movie will begin filming, but Isaac’s involvement suggests that the production is “a high priority for the studio” from now on.
There’s no info on which part of the series the future film will be based on, so it’s difficult to imagine what it will look like. But thanks to this artwork by @Spdrmnkyxxiii, we can at least try:
