Ziggurat Interactive has acquired several game licenses from publisher Majesco Entertainment. Those include Advent Rising, Raze’s Hell, Flip’s Twisted World, and BloodRayne.
Ziggurat is apparently considering a new installment in the BloodRayne series. Moreover, Terminal Reality, the developer of the original games, has returned to optimize the existing entries to work on the modern PC configurations.
The terms of the deal were not disclosed, nor did Ziggurat name the full list of the licenses it has purchased.
Ziggurat is a new US publisher that focuses on reviving retro games IP on modern platforms. It was founded in late 2019, and in April 2020, the company acquired the entire portfolio of 3DO Game Company from Prism Entertainment. The publisher now owns over 30 3DO titles, including Captain Quazar, Killing Time, and Avenging Angel.
