Valheim has sold more than 10 million copies globally, Iron Gate Studio and publisher Coffee Stain revealed. It took the Viking survival game a little over a year to hit this major milestone.

Steam reviews have been a fairly accurate estimate for units sold, as proved by Jake Birkett, Simon Carless and others. Video Game Insights has found that different review multipliers should be used depending on the year a game came out.

Valheim has been leading Steam’s best-selling chart for eight weeks, but Outriders has now managed to take first place.

Valheim continues to prove its status as one of the year’s most successful titles. Two months after its release, the game is still the top-selling game on Steam.

Valheim continues to set new records as the game peaked at over 360,000 concurrent players yesterday. On top of that, the Viking-themed survival has already made it to the top 10 games by concurrent players in Steam history.
