Thanks to discounts, some older games have managed to return to the top-selling charts on Steam. However, indie hit Lethal Company still outperforms all others, including evergreen titles like Counter-Strike 2.

Steam Deck remained the top-selling product on Steam by gross revenue for the week of November 28-December 5. Lethal Company, which has been dominating the charts since its Early Access launch on October 24, also kept its spot as the highest-grossing game on the platform.
In the past week, it managed to outperform live service free-to-play hits like Counter-Strike 2 (#3), PUBG (#4), Destiny 2 (#7), and Apex Legends (#9). According to SteamDB, Lethal Company’s player count continues to rise as well, peaking at over 240k concurrent users over the weekend. It has already secured its place in the top 5 Steam releases of 2023 by this metric.

As can be seen from the weekly charts, Horizon Zero Dawn jumped 36 places to #13 overall. One of the most successful PC versions of Sony’s first-party titles is still 75% off, so a surge in player interest is easily explained. The game also peaked at 12.5k concurrent players, which is its best result since January 2022.
American Truck Simulator, which is currently also 75% off, ranked 16th among premium and free-to-play titles, up 76 spots from the previous week.
Another interesting position in the top 20 is Yu-Gi-Oh! Master Duel, a PC version of Konami’s free-to-play collectible card game, which jumped 50 places to #17. It is worth noting that it was one of the highest-grossing games on Steam of 2022 globally.
Its mobile version is currently the second highest-grossing title in the genre year-to-date, behind only Marvel Snap. According to AppMagic, Yu-Gi-Oh! Master Duel made over $45 million on mobile in 2023 alone, and its lifetime revenue (reduced by platform fees and inclusive taxes) amounts to nearly $140 million.
