Stronghold: Definitive Edition, a remastered version of the classic real-time strategy game, has been a success for Firefly Studios. Here’s how the title performed after its recent launch on Steam.

As Firefly Studios announced on X (former Twitter), Stronghold: Definitive Edition has sold over 100k units in less than three days since its release on November 7. It is worth noting that the game is only available on Steam, making this milestone even more impressive.

For comparison, the original Stronghold, released in 2001, had sold 1.5 million copies by 2004.

The remastered version of Stronghold received positive feedback from PC players, with 82% of more than 2,000 user reviews on Steam being positive. According to SteamDB, it also peaked at 9,672 concurrent players.
