Mike Ybarra, the president of Blizzard Entertainment, has tried to defend the controversial monetization model of Diablo Immortal. He thinks that it is still a gameplay-first project with a free campaign.

It’s been revealed that Jen Oneal and Mike Ybarra have been asking management for equal contracts to co-lead Blizzard. Oneal, however, was offered one only after she informed the company about her resignation.
