Metal Gear Solid and Death Stranding creator Hideo Kojima will be part of the jury of the Venice Film Festival 2020.
The event will be the world’s first major film festival to return amid the pandemic. It will run September 2-12, with Cate Blanchett leading the jury.
Kojima will be one of the judges in the VR section at the Venice Film Festival. With his fellow judges, he will award the following prizes: Grand Jury Prize for Best VR Immersive Work, Best VR Immersive User Experience, and Best VR Immersive Story.
According the website of the festival, “Kojima is the author of videogames known world-wide for having pushed the boundaries of creativity in this field.”
