The start of the Winter Sale has brought many older games back to the top of the Steam charts. However, no game managed to dethrone Counter-Strike 2 from its leading position.

Although Path of Exile 2 continues to (very) slowly slide down the charts, it remains the top-grossing premium game on Steam for the third week in a row. Helldivers 2 (#5) and Marvel Rivals (#6) both remained in the top 10.

Thanks to the Winter Sale, Elden Ring jumped 47 positions to #7 overall (#3 among premium games). Baldur’s Gate 3 ranked as 9th highest-grossing product for the week of December 17-24, up 37 spots, while Hogwarts Legacy returned to the top 100 at #16 overall.

Among the noteworthy bestsellers is the new indie hit MiSide, which moved up 24 positions to #21 overall (#12 among premium titles). Launched on December 11, the horror adventure game from Aihasto continues to increase an audience with each week thanks to word of mouth and viral popularity among streamers. According to SteamDB, it recently peaked at 23,741 concurrent players on the platform.

In sad news, Indiana Jones and the Great Circle is struggling to hold its position on the charts. MachineGames’ action adventure game ranked 47th overall, down 35 spots from the previous week.
