Baldur’s Gate 3 has reached a new milestone, reaching over 500k user reviews on Steam. This makes it one of the most-reviewed games on the platform of all time, ahead of many other successful releases.
At the moment of writing, Baldur’s Gate 3 has 500,574 reviews on Steam, of which 96% are positive.
Larian Studios founder Swen Vincke thanked the fans on X (formerly Twitter), saying that reading these reviews has been “pure joy” for the team. “Half a million is a real big number. I wish we could get all of you in one place, shake your hands and chat about the adventure you had,” he wrote.
Thank you everyone! Half a million is a real big number. I wish we could get all of you in one place, shake your hands and chat about the adventure you had. But in the absence of that, reading these reviews has been pure joy. pic.twitter.com/ZjO62eNNHC

It is worth noting that Steam only includes purchases made by the reviewing account into the score displayed on the store. Taking into account key activations, the total number of user reviews for Baldur’s Gate 3 will be greater (over 561k, to be exact).
According to Steam250, this makes Larian’s RPG the 25th most-reviewed game on Steam of all time. It is now ahead of titles such as Red Dead Redemption 2 (533k reviews), The Forest (528k), Don’t Starve Together (443k), Valheim (439k), Monster Hunter: World (421k), Dying Light (403k), and The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim (315k).
Fun fact: Baldur’s Gate 3 ranks 26th on SteamDB, as the website still lists Rocket League (576k user reviews) among the platform’s most-reviewed titles. For those who might have forgotten, the game became unavailable for new players on Steam in 2020 after Epic Games acquired its developer Psyonix and made it exclusive to the Epic Games Store.
