Mobile farming game Spring Valley hits 11 million downloads globally

  • Last week, Playkot shared the news on LinkedIn, also saying that Spring Valley generated 1.5 million installs in the last 30 days.
  • The studio didn’t disclose any other metrics. The game crossed the 7 million mark last October, so it has added another 4+ million downloads since then.
  • In August 2023, Spring Valley also surpassed 1.3 million monthly active users (MAU), averaging over 1.2 million MAU since then.

  • According to AppMagic, the game has reached over $9 million in revenue (reduced by platform fees and inclusive taxes) globally.
  • The US accounts for 42% of the total, followed by Germany (11%), the UK (6%), Australia (3.6%), and Canada (3.4%).
  • January 2024 was Spring Valley’s best month in terms of revenue. It generated $689k from in-app purchases on iOS and Android, up 46% from the previous peak of $470k in September 2023.
  • In addition, the game recently set a new record for daily revenue by generating $29.5k on February 4.

Launched globally in May 2022, Spring Valley remains Playkot’s third-biggest title by lifetime revenue, behind only SuperCity ($10.4 million) and Age of Magic ($79.7 million).

In March 2023, the studio also managed to launch Spring Valley in China. For more details about the licensing process and the long work with the country’s regulators, read our interview with Playkot business development manager Jane Artemova.
