Steam’s latest weekly chart is full of interesting shifts and strong debuts. For example, Enshrouded became the 2nd highest-grossing game on the platform among both premium and free-to-play products, proving to be a massive success for Keen Games.

Enshrouded debuts at #2 on Steam weekly charts, BG3 drops out of top 10 for first time since July

Baldur’s Gate 3 / Enshrouded

Palworld remained the top-grossing product on Steam globally for the week of January 23-30. So it is interesting to see two Early Access survival titles dominating the charts.

As we reported yesterday, Enshrouded reached over 1 million players in just four days. Palworld is even more successful, having already sold over 8 million copies globally.

Tekken 8 and Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth, two big releases of the last week, also performed strong on Steam. Bandai Namco’s newest installment in its fighting series placed 3rd, while Infinite Wealth ranked 6th (4th when excluding free-to-play titles and Steam Deck).

Below are the top 10 premium games by gross revenue for the week of January 23-30 (excluding F2P titles and Steam Deck):

  1. Palworld
  2. Enshrouded
  3. Tekken 8
  4. Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth
  5. EA Sports FC 24
  6. Call of Duty
  7. Baldur’s Gate 3
  8. Lethal Company

Persona 3 Reload, a remake of Atlus’ classic JRPG, is already selling well despite only launching on February 2 — the game placed 16th. So Japanese companies really dominated this month, with Tekken 8 and Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth also ranking high on the charts.

Baldur’s Gate 3, one of Steam’s biggest hits of 2023, took 11th place. For the first time since July, Larian Studios’ RPG wasn’t among the top 10 highest-grossing products on the platform. Overall, BG3 spent 28 weeks in the top 10, so that was quite an impressive run!

Thanks to big discounts, several Capcom titles have returned to the top 50, including Monster Hunter: World (#15 overall), Resident Evil 4 (#23), and Street Fighter 6 (#40).
