Recently launched Counter-Strike 2 became the highest-grossing game on Steam last week, replacing its predecessor CS:GO. However, Cyberpunk 2077 and its expansion, Phantom Liberty, remained the top-selling premium title.
Cyberpunk 2077 was the top non-F2P game on Steam by gross revenue for the week of September 26-October 3, behind only free-to-play Counter-Strike 2. It is followed by Phantom Liberty, which climbed three places.
Call of Duty reached #8 on the overall charts, thanks to the launch of the new BlackCell battle pass, which debuted at #12. Other titles in the top 10 include EA Sports FC 24 (#4), Baldur’s Gate 3 (#5), and Party Animals (#9).

The launch of Phantom Liberty has been a success for CD Projekt RED. It currently holds a “Very Positive” rating on Steam, with 88% of the 6,000 user reviews being positive. On October 1, the base game also peaked at 274,526 concurrent players (via SteamDB) — numbers it hasn’t seen since its launch month in December 2020.
