Quantic Dream announced they are teaming with Paris-based developer Parallel Studio to work on an “ambitious new title” featuring “narrative, atmospheric, and poetic cinematography”.
“As part of its agreement with Parallel Studio, Quantic Dream is opening its door to the studio and providing them access to a vast array of creative tools and resources,” reads the press release. Sounds like the Detroit: Become Human developer is acting in its publishing capacity on this one. This is something they said they would pursue back in February 2020. David Cage wanted for Quantic Dream to become “a ’boutique’ publisher” that will be “backing few titles and championing originality and high quality, while providing tech and industrial support.”
As a publisher, Quantic Dream is also working with Jo-Mei studio on Sea of Solitude: The Director’s Cut and Red Thread Games on Dustborn.
As for Parallel Studio, it was founded in 2015 by veterans from Ubisoft, Dontnod Entertainment, and Quantic Dream itself.
