Journalist and insider Daniel Richtman claims that Netflix and Bethesda are working on a TV series set in The Elder Scrolls universe.
No information on the storyline of the show is available as the project is presumably is at a very early stage.
According to the insider, Netflix is planning to make a large-scale series based on The Elder Scrolls, comparable to The Witcher in scope. Richtman does not name the showrunner or writers.
The partnership between Netflix and Bethesda actually sounds surprising. Bethesda is already working with Amazon Studios and Amazon Prime on the Fallout series. Why the publisher decided to team up with another streaming platform for The Elder Scrolls project — Richtman doesn’t explain.
