Niko Partners project that video games in China will bring in over $46.7 billion in 2024.
Last year, mobile and PC games generated revenues in excess of $33 billion. These came from 685 million gamers, of which 637 million play games on mobile. By 2024, there will be 772 million players in China.
In 2019, mobile games revenue was $18.5 billion, up 18.2 percent from 2018. This will increase to $32 billion by the year 2024.
These estimates take into account the current health crisis that that led 95 percent of people surveyed play more games.
