Microsoft has shared some important updates of the Xbox Game Pass for PC. One of the key changes is that users will soon be able to access local files and mod games.

People will be able to install games from the Microsoft Store or Xbox Game Pass for PC to any folder. It will probably save users a lot of headache, as many players have been complaining about this issue for a while.

Another major change is the ability to access local files of any installed game and use them to create mods. “With great PC games like Back 4 Blood, Age of Empires IV, Forza Horizon 5, and Halo Infinite on day one with Game Pass, we wanted to provide players with more options to customize their experience in the Xbox app,” the company told The Verge.

On top of that, Microsoft will make it a lot easier to find upcoming titles in the Xbox app for PC. The download process should also become faster.
