Last week, a couple of older hits returned to the Steam charts and has seen outperformed most new releases. Here is our regular roundup of the top products on the platform by gross revenue over the past seven days.

DayZ and Factorio return to top 10 highest-grossing premium games on Steam thanks to new expansions

Counter-Strike 2 was the highest-grossing product on Steam globally for the week of October 15-22, staying at the top of the charts for the third week in a row. It is followed by Throne and Liberty, Dragon Ball: Sparking! Zero, and PUBG.

Liar’s Bar, which peaked at over 113k concurrent players yesterday, landed at #6 overall (#2 when only looking at premium games) — up six positions from the previous week.

DayZ triumphantly returned to the charts at #8 overall (#4 among premium titles) thanks to the launch of the Frostline expansion, which ranked 13th in gross revenue on Steam last week. Bohemia Interactive’s survival game also broke its CCU record, peaking at 78,937 concurrent players over the weekend.

Another older title that returned to the top 100 was Factorio, which landed at 15th place overall (#9 among premium games). Its new Space Age DLC rounded out the top 20, also receiving an “Overwhelmingly Positive” (98%) rating on Steam based on more than 1,700 reviews.

As in the case with DayZ, Wube Software’s automation sim peaked at its new all-time high of 91,801 concurrent players — a 2.6x increase from its launch peak of 34.7k CCU.

Top 20 highest-grossing products on Steam, including F2P titles and Steam Deck, for the week of October 15-22

New World soared 57 spots to #11 overall (#6 among premium games). Amazon’s MMORPG has been rebranded as New World: Aeternum following the launch of its enhanced version featuring all past updates, new archetypes, end-game trials, and other content.

Looking at new releases, Assassin’s Creed Mirage landed at #18 overall following its Steam launch on October 17 (it is also 50% off). Ubisoft Bordeaux-developed game currently has a “Mostly Positive” (73%) rating based on 985 reviews, with a peak CCU of 7,870. MechWarrior 5: Clans debuted at #22, receiving “Mostly Positive” (75%) reviews and peaking at 5,600 CCU. Neva, a new game from Gris developer Nomada Studio, landed at #57 overall.

One of the previous week’s leaders, Metaphor: ReFantazio and Silent Hill 2, dropped out of the top 10 and took 17th (↓14) and 30th (↓23) places, respectively.
