Satisfactory has finally graduated from Early Access after four years. Coffee Stain’s factory building game is now showing impressive results in terms of player interest.

Satisfactory peaks at over 100k concurrent players after its 1.0 launch

Version 1.0 of Satisfactory came out on September 10, peaking at 104,677 concurrent players (via SteamDB). That’s the three times the previous all-time high of 34.2k CCU achieved in November 2021.

The game has an “Overwhelmingly Positive” rating (97%) on Steam based on more than 146k reviews. 94% of the 4,135 reviews left in the past 30 days are positive, with some players criticizing Coffee Stain for crashes and other technical issues, as well as the removal of certain languages such as Arabic, Turkish, Ukrainian, Greek, and Finnish.

The new 104.6k peak makes Satisfactory the third biggest game in Coffee Stain’s publishing portfolio by this metric — behind only A Story About My Uncle (190.5k CCU) and Valheim (502.3k CCU). It is now ahead of titles like Deep Rock Galactic (54.1k CCU), Sanctum 2 (13.6k CCU), and Goat Simulator (10.1k CCU).

When looking at other 2024 releases on Steam, Satisfactory ranks 14th in peak CCU — right between Granblue Fantasy: Relink (114k CCU) and Hades II (103.5k CCU). The top 10 can be seen below:

*Note: The list doesn’t include several games from the SteamDB charts: Banana, which peaked at over 917k concurrent users, because a) it is more of an app for speculations rather than a game (people keep it launched for hours to get tradable cards) and b) it is unclear how many of those are bots; and games that reached their peak prior to 2024 (mostly Early Access graduates like Sons of the Forest and V Rising).
