Here is our weekly overview of the top-selling games on Steam by gross revenue. Some major evergreen hits have been upstaged by several new titles and pre-orders for upcoming releases.
Black Myth: Wukong
Black Myth: Wukong was the highest-grossing product on Steam for the week of June 4-11. Chinese studio Game Science opened pre-orders after showing a new trailer at the Summer Game Fest 2024 and reminding that the game launches on August 20.
Pre-orders for the game, which is currently the most wishlisted upcoming title globally, dethroned Counter-Strike 2 and ended its four-week dominance.
Destiny 2 remained in 2nd place, with The Final Shape expansion moving up 10 spots to #6 overall.
Elden Ring continued to climb the charts: the base game took 4th place, while pre-orders for the Shadow of the Erdtree DLC jumped 10 positions to #8 overall.

Bodycam, a realistic Unreal Engine 5-powered multiplayer shooter developed by two French enthusiasts aged 17 and 20, debuted at #7 overall (#4 when only looking at premium games).
It also peaked at 16,457 concurrent players. Users praised the game’s concept and graphics, but criticized it for its unfinished state and being overpriced ($30). This resulted in a 70% rating based on more than 8k reviews.
Looking at other titles on the chart, Street Fighter 6 rose 55 positions to #10 overall. This is largely thanks to a 50% discount, which applies to both the base game and its Deluxe Edition.
Diablio IV, which recently reached its new all-time high of 39k concurrent players on Steam, moved from 17th to 11th place. Interestingly, Blizzard also lowered the base price for the game from $69.99 to $49.99.
Civilization VI returned to the Steam charts at #19 overall thanks to a huge 95% discount following the recent announcement of the next installment in the series.
Dark and Darker debuted at #39. The game returned to Steam on June 7 and peaked at over 31k concurrent players, but received mixed reviews due to its confusing free-to-play marketing.
