Mobile mech shooter War Robots has reached a new milestone. Here is some data shared by developer Pixonic and publisher MY.GAMES to celebrate the game’s ninth anniversary.

War Robots revenue: $750 million across all platforms

War Robots has generated over $750 million in revenue on iOS and Android since its launch in April 2014, according to a new blog post by MY.GAMES.

Here are some other metrics:

  • More than 30 million new players have joined War Robots in the last year, up 40% year-over-year;
  • The game currently has more than 200 million registered users;
  • Speaking of retention, the company noted that “more than 6 million active players have been with the game for 2+ years.”

“It’s now much more than just a game — it’s an entire universe,” MY.GAMES CEO Vladimir Nikolsky said. “We have raised the War Robots experience to a new, and more hardcore, level with the announcement of War Robots: Frontiers — and that’s not all. Players can expect more exciting news in the near future.”

Announced at the end of 2022, War Robots: Frontiers is a free-to-play third-person shooter for consoles and PC built with Unreal Engine 5. The game has now entered the full production stage following the closed beta. It is expected to launch globally later this year.

Last year, MY.GAMES started the process of exiting the Russian market. Once a VK gaming subsidiary, the company was sold for $642 million to a new owner. In December 2022, MY.GAMES announced its decision to cease all business operations in Russia. It currently brands itself as a global game publisher with offices in the Netherlands, Finland, Cyprus, China, South Korea, and other countries.

Besides War Robots, MY.GAMES’ portfolio includes over 150 titles, such as Warface, Left to Survive, Blast Brigade, and Rush Arena.
