In the wake of its launch on new-gen consoles, This War of Mine has reached a new big milestone. The game has already been played by over 7 million users globally.
11 bit studios shared the news on the game’s official Twitter account.
“After reaching more than 7 million players worldwide we’re proud to release the game’s most polished experience on current-gen consoles,” the studio said, announcing the launch of This War of Mine’s versions for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S.

However, it is still unclear how many copies have been sold since the game’s launch on November 14, 2014. This War of Mine has already been distributed for free on the Epic Games Store, and it is now also available on Game Pass. So a lot of players had a chance to try it without making a purchase.
This War of Mine is a war-themed survival game developed by 11 bit studios. It puts a civilian into the center of the narrative, forcing players to make difficult decisions to survive in the dangerous environment. The game, which received positive reviews from critics and players, was included in the optional school reading list in Poland.
