Voodoo wants to support developers of hyper-casual games by starting its new Summer Game Competition this month. Studios will have a chance to receive money prizes and the publisher’s support.

The competition will take place between June 10 and July 15. International studios must submit their prototypes ahead of the official start and register on a special website.

The prize scale

  • Developers of any launched and confirmed game will get a minimum of $200 thousand.
  • $10 thousand is guaranteed for any games that will hit a $0.20 CPI and 30% D1 retention on Android. As for iOS, the metrics are $0.30 CPI and 30% D1 retention.
  • Any studio with a confirmed hit game, both during and after the competition, will get a referral prize of $50 thousand.

Voodoo will also grant participants access to its testing platform and offer its support, which includes data-driven insights, trend guidance, and live Q&A sessions.
