Anonymous dataminers obtained information on the Cyberpunk 2077 multiplayer from the game’s executable file.

Two multiplayer modes have been discovered so far, according to DSOGaming.

The first one is called Heists, and it will probably resemble the mode of the same name in Grand Theft Auto Online when team members have to work together to execute a major theft. The player will be able to choose from four character classes: solo, assassin, netrunner, and techie.

The second MP mode is called Deathmatch.

DSOGaming also notes that “the game may rely on P2P connections, and may not have dedicated servers.”

In any case, while the information is actually contained in the game’s executable file, the studio’s multiplayer ambitions may very well change.
