Silent Hill and Gravity Rush creator Keiichiro Toyama has shared some details on the first game from his newly created Bokeh Game Studio.
It will be “an action-adventure game that will appeal to fans of my previous work,” the developer told IGN alluding to the Silent Hill, Siren and Gravity Rush series. “If anything, this will be more of a horror-oriented game,” Toyama added. “But we will focus on making this a broader entertainment experience, rather than a hardcore horror game.”
While the game is being developed primarily for PC, the studio hopes for a multi-platfrom release when the game is ready. This should be in 2023.
Right now, the studio is beginning to work on the prototype. However, Bokeh cofounder and producer Kazunobu Sato promised to share regular updates via the studio, Twitter and Facebook accounts, something the team were not able to do while at Sony’s Japan Studio and Konami.
