Sensor Tower has posted an update on the top-grossing mobile games so far this year. Five mobile game have brought in over $1 billion this year, with PUBG Mobile leading the pack with $2.6 billion.

- PUBG Mobile is the top-grossing mobile game of 2020, generating $2.6 billion to date.
- Five games have exceeded $1 billion on mobile this year: PUBG Mobile, Honor of Kings, Pokémon GO, Coin Master, and Roblox.
- They could be joined by Monster Strike, which has generated $958 million. It has previously been a top-five grossing mobile title each year globally since at least 2014.
- The previous record for the number of billion-dollar mobile games in a single year came in both 2019 and 2018, when there were three titles generating more than $1 billion.
