Supercell co-founder Mikko Kodisoja left the company on June 26 2020. The news of his departure he shared on Facebook, as spotted by PocketGamer.biz.
Following the cancellation of an unnamed game in August 2019, Kodisoja started “exploring different ways of telling stories” outside of games. However, he is not completely breaking up with the compay.
“I will still continue working as [a] member of the board in some of the Supercell investee companies. And of course I will always remain a close friend to the company,” he said.
