DayZ developer Bohemia Interactive shut down its studio in Bratislava.
The decision was announced on Twitter, with the post refering to “a mutual decision between management and studio leads.”
We recently closed our Bratislava studio. It was a mutual decision between management and studio leads, and we want to thank all team members for their contribution.
This decision won't affect the future dev. of DayZ, which will continue as outlined here: https://t.co/iXt1gntkTa pic.twitter.com/Ca6nKH4KcW

Bohemia confirmed that the development of the title will continue. As for updates planned for DayZ in 2020, they will arrive according to the roadmap Bohemia shared in January. “This year, the development will focus on stability, bug fixing, and gameplay improvements, along with some new small-scale content,” the January post said.
The dissolution of the Bratislava studio will only impact the frequency of the updates. It’s unclear how many people were affected.
