The number of layoffs in the games industry continues to grow. Hundreds of people from studios around the world lost their jobs last month.

Gameloft announced today that it has acquired The Other Guys, the studio behind interactive series app Linda Brown and interactive storytelling platform Journeys.

Mobile runner Minion Rush from Gameloft is expected to hit one billion downloads in the coming months.
