The company’s mobile hit celebrated another milestone as a result of its most successful year to date. In 2020, Brawl Stars generated $526 million in revenue and became Supercell’s second grossing title, right behind Clash of Clans ($681 million).

Here are other key data indicating the game’s success:

  • Last year, Brawl Stars became Supercell’s fastest-growing game by revenue, as its player spending increased by 27.5% year-over-year — all thanks to a successful launch in China.
  • The game earned the most in the USA, generating $143.5 million, or 14.5% of total revenue. South Korea sits at No. 2 with $138.5 million, while China lands in third place with $100+ million.
  • App Store generated 52% of Brawl Stars’ revenue, which equals $521.6 million. Google Play accumulated $490.6 million. Excluding China, where Google’s store is officially banned, Google Play tops App Store with 53.8% of the game’s worldwide revenue.
  • Brawl Stars generated around 265 million downloads in total. The top three countries by installs are Russia (30 million downloads), Brazil (24.3 million), and Turkey (19 million).

Brawl Stars was released in 2018. Other three Supercell’s games that passed the $1 billion mark are Clash of Clans, Clash Royale, and Hay Day.
