Fortnite has surpassed $1 billion in lifetime player spend on mobile.
The update has come from Sensor Tower, which tracks spending across the App Store and Google Play. So this does not cover the game’s revenues on Android generated by direct downloads from the Epic Games website.
Fortnite only launched on Google Play last month, something that Epic said it had to do because of the pressure from Google. The Google Play version only accounts for a month’s worth of user spend estimated at $937,000. The App Store, on the other hand, is responsible for more than $1b in lifetime spending.
