The Just Cause makers have rebranded as Avalanche Studios Group. The change has been made in the recognition of the company’s three ‘creative divisions’: Avalanche Studios, Expansive Worlds, and Systemic Reaction.
Avalanche Studios is a developer responsible for AAA titles like Just Cause and Rage 2. Expansive Worlds develops games like hunting simulator Hunter: Call of the Wilds. As for the third structure, it is the group’s publishing brand.
Along with the rebranding announcement, the company teased a new game from Systemic Reaction, which previously released Generation Zero. The survival shooter about fighting robots in the outback of Sweden wasn’t a huge success. It currently has the user score of just above 5 out of 10 on Metacritic.
It is difficult to say exactly what the new project will be. The teaser only suggest it will be a shooter.
