WN x LEVEL UP Summit will be held in Kuala Lumpur on October 1. It will be a small-scale event aimed at bringing together executives from global game companies and local industry professionals.
WN Media Group will host the Summit in partnership with LEVEL UP KL, the largest game developer conference in Southeast Asia that will take place in the Malaysian capital on October 1-3. The latter is organized by the country’s Digital Economy Corporation (MDEC).
WN x LEVEL UP Summit Kuala Lumpur’24 will gather attendees at Connexion Conference & Event Centre (CCEC), an advanced venue located in the southwest of Kuala Lumpur. The event will last six hours from 13:00 to 19:00 local time (GMT+8).
The Summit will primarily focus on networking. According to the organizers, “the event is designed to connect key decision-makers in the games industry from around the world with the local game developer community.”
However, there will also be a lecture program featuring speakers from companies such as Niko Partners, Meta, Forest Interactive, and Larian Studios. Not to mention several roundtable discussions.
The organizers expect over 300 attendees. There will only be 112 free tickets, with €100 tickets for those who want to guarantee their entry to the event.
All participants will have access to the WN Hub platform, where they will be able to see the full list of attendees and expand their professional network. It is available from September 17 to October 15.
This will be WN Media Group’s first games industry event in Malaysia. Earlier this year, the company held WN International Summit in China in partnership with ChinaJoy, which brought together over 400 people from companies such as Bandai Namco, Tencent Games, iDreamSky, miHoYo, ByteDance, Outfit7, and Scopely.
