WN Media Group held its second business event in Cologne on August 20. It was organized ahead of the annual Gamescom conference.
WN Connect Cologne’24 was attended by 717 games industry professionals, making it one of the largest and the most successful events in the company’s history.
C-level executives made up 68% of the total, followed by business development & sales managers (19%), game developers (9%), and marketing & PR specialists (5%).
Attendees by job type
A total of 484 companies took part in WN Connect Cologne’24, of which around two-thirds were developers and publishers. Other notable groups included advertising firms (19%) and platforms (18%). Investors accounted for 10% of the companies that attended the event.

Among the attendees were representatives from Behaviour Interactive, Epic Games, Miniclip, NCSoft, NetherRealm Studios, BoomBit, Sensor Tower, Tencent Games, Newzoo, and more. Marketing platform Aarki sponsored the event, while The Games Fund served as a partner.
The Cologne event was the seventh WN Connect this year. Since January, WN Media Group has organized similar events in the UK, Pakistan, Spain, Vietnam, Poland, and Croatia.
