The last fiscal year (April 2025 – March 2026) was excellent for Take-Two Interactive. The company’s results surpassed its forecasts.
GTA VI
- In a recent report, Take-Two reported that its annual revenue reached $6.66 billion, which is 18% more compared to the previous year. Meanwhile, net cash flow amounted to a record $6.72 billion—an increase of 19%.
- Take-Two earned 78% of its revenue from so-called recurrent consumer spending—sales of DLC, microtransactions, in-game advertising, and other similar items.
- Exactly half of the company’s revenue was generated by mobile games. Take-Two is overall pleased with the achievements of its mobile teams. For instance, it noted that in the fourth quarter, Zynga showed its best results since its acquisition in 2022.
- PC games contributed another 39% of the revenue, with console games accounting for the remaining 11% (There is a possibility that Take-Two mistakenly swapped these platforms, and in reality, console games were responsible for 39% of the revenue, not PC games. Such a breakdown would align with the company’s previous reports. — Ed. note).
- Take-Two is still operating at a loss, but its net losses have significantly decreased. While a year ago they amounted to $4.48 billion, they are now only $298.2 million.
- Take-Two confirmed that it still plans to release GTA VI as scheduled: November 19, 2026. The company also announced that it currently has 29 games slated for release over the next three years.
- This year, Take-Two hopes to set new financial records, with GTA VI expected to aid in this effort. The company forecasts revenue in the range of $7.9 to $8.1 billion.
