Counter-Strike 2 reclaimed the top spot as the highest-grossing product on Steam for the week of January 21-28, displacing PUBG.

Red Dead Redemption 2 experienced a significant increase in gross revenue, moving up 74 places to #3 overall. Thanks to a historically low price (80% off), the game also broke its CCU record, peaking at over 86.7k concurrent players over the weekend.

Rockstar’s publisher sale also had a positive impact on other games from the company. GTA V jumped 18 positions to #18 overall (#10 when only looking at premium titles). Red Dead Redemption and GTA: San Andreas — The Definitive Edition returned to the charts at #53 and #54 respectively, while GTA IV placed 83rd.

Final Fantasy VII Rebirth continued to climb the charts, moving up six spots to #6 overall (#2 among premium games). The long-waited PC port of Square Enix’s RPG also peaked 40.5k concurrent players, the biggest single-player FF game by that metric. The previous installment in the remake trilogy, Final Fantasy VII Remake Integrade, climbed 13 positions to #23 overall.

Thanks to pre-orders, Civilization VII remained in the top 10, while Monster Hunter Wilds and Kingdom Come: Deliverance II placed 15th and 18th, respectively.
