It can be quite expensive for developers and publishers to showcase their games during Gamescom Opening Night Live. Here are the official prices for the Geoff Keighley’s upcoming event.

Showcasing game trailer at Gamescom ONL 2024 cost at least €57.5k

Geoff Keighley at Gamescom Opening Night Live 2023

According to Gamescom’s booking form (thanks, TechRaptor), prices for this year’s ONL pre-show are as follows:

  • 30-second trailer — €57,500;
  • 60-second trailer — €82,500;
  • 90-second trailer — €107,500k;
  • 120-second trailer — €132,500k.

Showcasing your game during the main show will cost much more. At the time of writing, all spots are sold out, but here is the information from the cached page:

  • 30-second video — €115,000;
  • 60-second video — €165,000;
  • 90-second video — €215,000;
  • 120-second video — €265,000.

Gamescom prices have increased from the previous year. For comparison, showcasing a 30-second trailer during the ONL 2023 main show cost €85k, while a 120-second video cost €210k. The pricing was the same in 2022.

It is worth noting that Gamescom is still relatively “cheap” compared to Geoff Keighley’s another event, Summer Game Fest. Despite having special free spots for indie developers and announcements from major companies like Microsoft or Sony, prices for Summer Game Fest 2024 were still quite high:

  • 1-minute video — $250,000;
  • 1.5-minute video — $350,000;
  • 2-minute video — $450,000;
  • 2.5-minute video — $550,000.

Geoff Keighley and the team will host Opening Night Live 2024 on August 20. Gamescom will start the following day and will last until August 25.
