In a turbulent time for the games industry, many developers are struggling to secure investment. Market intelligence platform InvestGame has just published a curated list of gaming-focused funds, opening it up to everyone.

As InvestGame explained in an announcement, the Gaming Focused Funds list suits not only game developers, but also platforms, esports organizations, and Web3 companies operating in the area.

“Over the past three years, our commitment has been to bridge the gap between investors and gaming studios, promoting a culture of transparency and shared success,” the post reads. “Recognizing our industry’s current challenges, we are more determined than ever to contribute positively to its growth and resilience. This new initiative is a step towards that goal, aiming to facilitate meaningful partnerships that drive forward the future of gaming.”

Information in the database can be filtered by the following parameters:

  • Investor’s name and its official website;
  • Investor type: VC funds, accelerators, private equity investors;
  • Regions and countries where funds are headquartered;
  • Geographic focus of investment: North America, Europe, MENA, etc.;
  • Deal types: early/late-stage investment, M&A, etc;
  • Gaming verticals: studios, platform, esports, Web3, technologies.

There are currently 60 funds in the database, including a16z (Andreessen Horowitz), GEM Capital, The Games Fund, WePlay Ventures, Bitkraft Ventures, Griffin Gaming Partners, Hiro Capital, Makers Fund, and Transcend Fund.

Third parties can also submit their own funds to the list, with InvestGame planning to add more investors and additional data in the future. “We aim to create a comprehensive and indispensable guide for navigating the gaming investment landscape,” the team noted.
