The latest WN Connect took place on September 6 in Istanbul, marking the sixth business games industry event organized by WN Media Group in Turkiye. It was attended by 151 professionals from 106 companies.
Developers accounted for 54% of the companies that attended WN Connect Istanbul’23. They were followed by publishers (23%), platforms (23%), advertising firms (22%), and investors (10%).
It is worth noting that the majority of attendees (70%) were representatives of Turkish companies, including game localization studio 23 Studios, VC firm Boğaziçi Ventures, and mobile developer UDO Games.
63% of all attendees were executives and top managers, followed by business development & sales managers (18%) and game developers (15%).
WN Connects are small events for 100-150 people usually dedicated to the local games industry. Their ultimate goal is to help developers, managers, investors, and other professionals share their experiences and discuss various business topics.
