The latest WN CEO Summit took place in the UK on March 28. This time, 100 executives and top managers of game companies from 15 countries gathered in London to discuss various industry and business topics.

WN CEO Summit London’23 was attended by people from 94 companies, including Larian Studios, Playrix, Unity, TikTok, Paramount, Miniclip, and Gram Games.

The first part of the event took place at Tramp, the famous private members’ club with a 50-year history. After that, participants were taken on a river cruise on the Thames.

In addition to traditional networking, WN CEO Summit London’23 included a series of closed round table discussions. This format allows participants to exchange their views and insights on certain industry issues.

Here are some topics discussed during the event:

  • Alternative App Stores Distribution: Challenges and Current Opportunities — led by Ben Atherton, director of app monetization at Meta;
  • A PR Frame of Mind — led by Jacki Vause, founder and CEO of Dimoso;
  • Where to Invest: The Most Exciting Game Opportunities — led by Brett Krause, general partner at Transcend Fund;
  • Cost, Privacy, Personalization — Optimizing Your Game by Leveraging On-Device Computing — led by Abhishek Sen, co-founder and CEO of NumberEight.

When it comes to numbers, 40% of the companies that participated in the WN CEO Summit London’23 were game developers. 93% of participants were from Europe, with the MENA and North America regions accounting for roughly 3% each.

WN CEO Summit is an event for owners, founders, and C-level executives of gaming companies. The first two summits took place in Cyprus and Barcelona, Spain, in 2018 and 2019, respectively. After that, the event took a two-year hiatus due to Covid restrictions.

Last year, WN Media Group organized the third CEO Summit that took place in Istanbul, Turkey.
