Snowrunner remains one of Embracer Group’s main revenue drivers. And the new milestone for the Saber Interactive-developed off-road simulation game is further proof of that.
- Developers made the announcement on February 28, saying that 10 million players have played Snowrunner since its launch in April 2020.
- “Such a landmark number is a testament to the dedication and passion of the game’s incredibly active community,” the statement reads. “From the teams at Saber Interactive and Focus Entertainment, we want to thank all the Runners 10 million times!”
- In November 2022, Saber Interactive announced the 9 million milestone, meaning the game has attracted another million players in the last three months.
- It is worth noting that this figure includes not only people who purchased Snowrunner, but also users who played it on Game Pass.
10 Million Runners have jumped into the world of SnowRunner.
We’re at a loss for words to express how grateful we are to have such a dedicated and passionate community.

Available on PC, Xbox, PlayStation, and Nintendo Switch, Snowrunner is an off-road simulation game developed by Saber Interactive and published by Focus Entertainment. It originated from Spintires, a project created by Saber coder Pavel Zagrebelnyy, and its sequel Mudrunner.
Snowrunner received positive reviews from critics, with an average score of 75-82 on Metacritic. On Steam, the game has an 89% rating based on more than 16,000 user reviews.
In its latest quarterly report, Embracer Group cited Snowrunner, along with Borderlands 3 and Deep Rock Galactic, as the main revenue drivers. These titles helped the Swedish holding company reach over $200 million in back catalog sales in the quarter ended Decemebr 31.
