WN Media Group has shared the data to sum up its latest conference, which took place on February 8-9 in Belgrade, Serbia. Here are some graphs about the event’s attendees and games showcased there.
How many companies attended the conference?
390 gaming companies participated in WN Belgrade’23, according to the organizer’s data. Game developers accounted for 55% of the total number, followed by publishers (19%), ad firms (16%), and platforms (15%).
It is worth noting that 56% of companies employed up to 70 people. Mid-sized companies (up to 300 employees) accounted for 24% of the total number.

How many people visited the event on-site?
661 people attended the conference, according to the organizers. Executives accounted for almost half of all participants, followed by game developers (23%) and business development & sales managers (14%).

69% of attendees came from Europe. There were also many professionals from the CIS (19%) and MENA (6%) regions, as well as North America (4%).

WN Developer Showcase
89 games were presented at a special developer showcase. PC was the most popular target platform, with 66% of all developers choosing it, followed by mobile (37%) and consoles (21%).
The vast majority of all showcased projects are made with Unity. Unreal Engine was the second most popular engine, and some developers even preferred custom solutions.
