Organizers of Gamescom 2022 have shared official numbers about the latest event. It was a huge success, attracting hundreds of thousands of visitors on site.
- Gamescom 2022 was attended by 265k visitors from over 100 countries, according to a press release.
- It is down 28.9% from 373k visitors in 2019, but it is still impressive considering the two-year hiatus.
- The whole event generated more than 130 million views, with the Opening Night Live show reaching 12 million views.
- Around 1,100 exhibitors from 53 countries and over 25k trade visitors attended Gamescom 2022.

“On the whole, Gamescom 2022 exceeded our expectations: This live comeback together with our newly expanded digital offerings means that we are ideally positioned for the successful hybrid future of Gamescom,” Felix Falk, managing director of game, the German Games Industry Association, said.
The next Gamescom will run from August 23 to August 27, 2023.
